There are good TV shows, great TV shows, and then there are TV shows that are basically perfect. These latter shows are flawless from beginning to end, with hardly a negatively reviewed episode in between. In some cases, these shows just kept getting better and better with each season.

Many of these nearly perfect TV shows have emerged in the last few decades, but some date back even further; one even began way back in the ’60s. Two of the shows, meanwhile, continue with new seasons to this day and are expected to keep improving with time.

1. ‘Breaking Bad’ (2008-2013)

Widely regarded as one of the best shows of the past few decades, with some even calling it the best, “Breaking Bad” earned Bryan Cranston a new legion of fans and respect as an actor.
