The Anime Plans for the Final Arc

Muzan tracked down the Ubuyashiki mansion thanks to Nakime, a demon who used small eyeball demons to spy on the demon slayers and locate their secret base. He approached Ubuyashiki, who was sick in bed and did not see him. Ubuyashiki told Muzan many things highlighting that Muzan was once part of the Ubuyashiki family himself. He explained that the family’s curse started with the creation of Muzan. opposing Muzan kept Ubuyashiki alive.

Ubuyashiki had prepared for Muzan’s arrival by setting a trap for him. His entire mansion was packed with explosives that had spiked caltrops mixed in. These were meant to cause the most harm and slow down Muzan’s healing powers. Ubuyashiki planned to give up his own life and his family’s to weaken Muzan. He hoped this would make it easier for the Hashira to defeat the villain.

After the blast, Lady Tamayo showed up with a unique mixture called the Anti-Kibutsuji drug made with Shinobu Kocho’s aid. She said the drug could change a demon back into a human, a claim Muzan found laughable. However, the drug did slow Muzan’s healing after he took it in. The Hashira then came to the area, and Stone Hashira Gyomei Himejima struck Muzan with a strong hit chopping off his head in one swing. Despite his weaker state, Muzan managed to live through having his head cut off.

Muzan summoned Nakime to activate portals to the Infinity Castle, their extradimensional hideout. He, along with Tanjiro, the Hashira, and additional demon slayers, found themselves transported to the Infinity Castle dropping until finding a place to stand firm. The last fight will occur in the Infinity Castle, and Muzan concluded by daring Tanjiro to try and kill him if possible.

The Infinity Castle holds many dangerous threats, including the remaining Twelve Kizuki members. The Hashira and Tanjiro will be busy fighting these villains, and they need to ready themselves for a unique battle. As things are set up, the last fight between Demon Slayer‘s heroes and the demons is set to start in earnest once the series comes back.
